Besides sharpening the child's intellect, we at St. Jude's cater to the child's all round development. In today's modern world physical fitness and mental makeup have become the order of the day. Hence, sports and games form an integral and important part of our school activities and are compulsory for all medically fit students.
Each new day dawns with the morning P.T or Yoga which prepares the child to face the day, both mentally and physically. Compulsory games in the evenings train the child in Foot Ball, Basket Ball, Volley Ball, Tennis, Badminton,Table Tennis and Athletics.
We strongly believe that healthy competitions bring out the best in students. Hence, regular inter-house tournaments and Athletic meets are held every year to encourage sports and to bring out the best in every student.
The school participates in the Inter-school tournaments and Athletic meets held by the Association of English speaking schools in the Nilgiris and Kodaikanal every year. 23 schools in the association battle it out every year to reign supreme.
