Music and dance spell magic to its beholders, Grace and elegance give expression to our emotions. The school emphasizes on Indian music and dance with no less importance to the western talents. Well drawn out programmes for improving skills in music, dance and dramatics add spice to the core of the routine.
Besides the regular music classes where singing is emphasized, instrumental music is taught by experts and organ guitar and drums are a few of its kind. Bharathanatyam, the traditional Indian dance is compulsory for all girls, while folk dances are also eagerly sought after by both boys and girls.
Inter House Music, dance and dramatic competitions are held every year so as to give vent to the creativity and talent in children. The institution has set unbelievable standards of excellence in this filed. We have made a mark at the Inter School Music and Dance competitions. The record established by us is yet to be broken.
The cultural wing of St. Jude's enriches the love of Histrionics by composing and conducting programmes of their own.
Literary Activities
Education is never complete unless it identifies the innate abilities of the individual students dormant in them, without a vent for exposure. This part is very carefully taken care of in this institution. Regular Inter house competitions in elocution, debate, quiz, recitation, story-telling, just-a-minute contest and book review are conducted.
Art and Craft:
Competitions in painting and needle work are held by the department of art and craft. These competitions trigger the child's creativity and emotions. This department also holds exhibitions every year in the month of November.
