Inter School Chess Tournament

On behalf of the Association of The English Speaking Schools the Inter School Chess Tournament was conducted by the Crescent Castle Matriculation School at Anna Stadium Ooty on the 8th August 2011, Wherein 14 schools in the Nilgiris participated.
Our School Inter Team came out victorious with 13 points and Vijay Krishna was declared the board winner.  Second Place was secured by Laidlaw Memorial School and the Third Place by Riverside Public School.
The Senior Team scored 13 ½ points and emerged winners and Pravinth. E and Gowtham. S were the board winners.  Second and Third places were secured by Riverside and St. Joseph’s Boys’ School.
The Super Senior boys also came out as winners with 14 points and Dharuniesh. P, Ramkumar. G and Minu Aswanth. S. V were declared board winners.  Second and third places were secured by Stanes, Coonoor and Laidlaw Memorial School.
The students made the school proud through this immense victory and the Chairman Mr. P. P. Dhanarajan and Principal Mrs. Saro Dhanarajan congratulated the three teams and the coach Mr. Babu

 

Volley Ball Tournament at Hillfort Matricualtion School

Our Senior boys and girls took part in the Independence Day Volleyball Tournament conducted by Hillfort Matricualtion School. Both our teams emereged winners. In the finals, The boys beat CSI Hr.Sec, School, Kotagiri, and our girls beat Riverside Public School.

Volley Ball Tournament

Inter School volley Ball Tournament conducted by the Association of The English Speaking Schools. clean sweeps Interschool volleyball championship in all inter, senior and super-senior divisions in both boys and girls

Table Tennis Tournament

Interschool Table Tennis tournament for boys was held at St.Joseph's Boys Hr.Sec.School, Coonoor. It was keenly competed by students from 12 schools of the Association. Our boys did well for themselves and emerged winners in the Inter division and runners-up in the Super senior division.

 

 

 

 

 

Interschool Athletic Meet - M.R.C.

The 61st Inter school Athletic Meet was held at MRC on behalf of English Speaking Schools in the Nilgiris. 24 Schools from the district took part in the meet. The boys team from St.Jude's won the champtionship for the first time beating St.Joseph's who had held the fort for the past 22 years. So it was a memorable and historic moment for our boys. Our Girls did well as usual and won the Championship for the third consecutive year.

The Marchpast shields for both boys and girls were won by St.Jude's From the time of the conception of this meet, It is the first time where both championships have gone to one single school.
